About the Project

The project is about the development of a dwelling community estate in Ogba village for Edos in the Diasporas and others with shared values who desire a relatively safe dwelling abode in Benin City, Nigeria. Investors (comprising of a number of professionals in the diasporas) have commenced the development project. The first phase of the estate community infrastructures will include security wall, pave roads, drainage systems, water systems, reliable electrical substation.

The second phase will include club house, police and fire station.  Commercial infrastructures including internet services, medical center, school, shopping center, petrol station, garbage collection, etc., will be undertaken by interested entrepreneur residents of the estate community.

At the completion of the first phase of the community infrastructures – projected for 2011, the estate will be opened to Edos in the Diasporas and others with shared values to purchase plots for residential development. Eligibility to buy plots in the estate will be contingent on the prospective individual meeting ethical standards as established by the estate management board.
